Tech Sergeant Barry Harper has served in Desert Storm in Kuwait, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. He says he loves serving his country and, although he's eligible for retirement after 25 years in the Air Force, he plans to continue in the Service. In countries where only dictators lived privileged lives, Harper has helped build schools, helped children get back in school and paved the way for voting.
Harper's station, Camp Taji in Iraq, is often a target of insurgents. In spite of that,he's anxious to get back.
Barry Harper says "We've got a job to do and that's what we do. We're serving our country, we're helping to free some people from tyranny, and we love what we do."
