CPS locates missing East Texas boy, grandma arrested

VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Child Protective Services (CPS) has located a child missing Friday.

10-year-old child, Jayden Malone, was found with his grandmother Teresa Matteson. Matteson, 47, was arrested on a felony theft charge, according to CPS.

CPS was granted legal custody of the boy to ensure he is safe and cared for, but were unable to locate the boy Friday. Jayden has a number of serious medical conditions that need immediate attention.
