EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - An area of low pressure could keep a few spotty showers in the forecast for the next few days.
Most of us will stay dry today, as that area of low pressure parks to our northwest. We can't rule out a few spotty showers over the northern half of East Texas this afternoon, mainly north of I-20. By Tuesday, that area of low pressure will start to move into our region, bringing isolated showers along with it. The best timing for any chance for rain will be in the afternoon through the evening on Tuesday.
Highs will warm right back into the low 90s, a lot like yesterday, but that's even cooler than where we should be for this time of the year. Our winds will be out of the south around 5-10 mph. Any chance for showers will come to an end as the sun sets just before 8 p.m. leaving partly cloudy skies overnight.
That low will exit the region by mid-week, so skies will clear by then. Lows will stay in the low 70s, with highs in the low to mid 90s each day.
Have a great start to your week!
