Tyler School Begins Disinfecting Process

Every classroom, every desk, chair and doorknob getting disinfected Wednesday inside All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler. The cleaning crew started at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning hoping to put a stop to whatever caused students to get sick over the past couple days.

The school shut down so more people wouldn't catch the flu-like virus. Officials hope another day of disinfecting will kill the germs.

"That, plus the students being away from school for 6 days we hope will cause the virus or viruses, because I think there was a number of them going around, to be controlled. So we'll be back on Tuesday and we hope to be back to normal," says Headmaster Arthur Burke.

Burke also says the days missed will probably not be made up at the end of the school year.
