Man Arrested In Home Scam, Another Wanted

A man has been arrested in a home scam we told you about two weeks ago.

He and another man, still at large, are accused of using false deeds to sell a house. In other words, the men never owned the home they sold to the local victim.

The alleged victim, Merced Espinoza, bought a house in Tyler, only to find out a year later that he didn't own it. The house was foreclosed by the bank. Espinoza was forced to move out and lost about $15,000.

Vincent Rincon of Tyler is charged with misapplication of fiduciary property and securing execution of documents by deception. He's in the Smith County Jail on $500,000 bond.

Police have issued a warrant for a second suspect, a man named David Lance Waddle.
