Another East Texas school has temporarily closed its doors because of the flu. The announcement was made for students at All Saints Episcopal School today. Students were released in groups and told not to come back till next week. School officials say nearly 22 % of the students were absent. Custodians will disinfect the entire campus over the next few days. Headmaster of All Saints says closing the school was best for everyone.
"Just going to the cafeteria, I can see a number of students coughing, exhibiting signs of illness. We want to give those students time to get on the mend, because they are indirectly effecting other students by being here," says Arthur Burke, Headmaster of All Saints.
Officials say school will resume next Tuesday. Friday and Monday were regularly scheduled holidays. School officials say all previously scheduled after-school events will continue.
