Van Wins Round Three With Bullard, 54-50

After splitting the first two meetings this year, the Van Vandals defeated the Bullard Panthers in their final matchup of the regular season.

The second ranked Vandals trailed by four at halftime, but got 16 points and 6 rebounds from senior Brandon Roberts, and 12 points from Andrew Thompson and Kenny Ghormley.

Bullard, ranked fourth in the state, was led by junior Brodie Greene with 20 points.

Both teams are already playoff teams, Van can clinch the district championship and a first round playoff bye in their final regular season game against Canton. Bullard will play Chapel Hill next, with the two teams battling for the playoff second seed.
