Harleton softball drops 2A state final

AUSTIN, TX (KLTV) - The Harleton softball team dropped the 2A state championship game for the second consecutive year.  Shiner won their record fifth state championship 3-0 over the Lady Cats at McCombs Field in Austin.

Harleton loaded the bases with one out in the first inning, but failed to score.  It would be their best opportunity of the game.  Harleton finishes the season with a 33-3 record.
