Speeding in Smith County school zones

There's been a lot of activity around the controversial contract to pay an out-of-state company to put up speed monitoring cameras in Smith County school zones.  Despite that activity, no cameras have gone up and Cody Lillich with the KLTV 7 Investigates team has discovered they may not go up for a long, long, long time.

Many Smith County residents, including school officials and law enforcement, say there's no need for the cameras because speeding is being handled effectively with measures already in place.  Cody went out to school zones in the county, with a radar gun, to track the flow of traffic and see if speeding is, indeed, out of control.  See what he found in his new report at 10.

Chief Meteorologist Mark Scirto is tracking the changing conditions that will affect the weather where you live.  Watch at 10 to see what you can expect.
