An 86-year-old Longview woman weighed just 40 lbs when found by authorities over the weekend, that's according to relatives.
86-year-old Marquita McKenzie was found by police Saturday at a home in the 400 block of Harrison Rd. in Longview.
McKenzie was living at that home with her grandson, 40-year-old Michael Kuhn and daughter 64-year-old Sylvia Youngberg.
Kuhn and Youngberg were arrested and charged with "injury to an elderly person."
Authorities say when they located McKenzie she was lying in the floor, severely dehydrated and malnourished.
A relative tells us she had possibly been there for more than a week.
Kuhn and Youngberg remain in jail. Mckenzie is in a local hospital, relatives say, she is in good condition.
