Diana School Kids Give Nod To Eagles

The sixth graders of New Diana have made their predictions for Super Bowl XXXIX. During the school's annual "Super Bowl Week," KLTV asked the students for their best bets on the big game.

"Eagles," Beau Brewer said, "'cause they're the underdogs."

Ricky Hill disagrees. "I think the Patriots are going to win, they have a good line and a good quarterback."

Lauren McCallum is going with the champs. "Patriots, 'cause they won last year and I want to see them win again."

"Patriots," agrees Brooke Fleming. "I don't really know why."

Travis Stanley caps it up. "Eagles," he says, "because they're cool and they're good at football."

When all the ballots were counted, the sixth grade class bucked the trend, and selected the Philadelphia Eagles as their pick for champions of Super Bowl XXXIX, final score 34 to 32.
