Proud of East Texas: Roseland's Last Supper

In a climate controlled building on the grounds of historic Roseland Plantation, is a priceless full-sized replica of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper."

Located in Van Zandt County, Roseland Plantation was built in 1854 and became a recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1966.

The painting was originally purchased by Tyler philanthropist Gertude Windsor. After Mrs. Windsor's death, Tim and Carolyn West bought the property and when they entered the "surprise building", they were amazed to find the 15-by-25 foot religious masterpiece.
