Hundreds Turn Out To Meet New JT Coach

He's a winner and he's got the most exciting offense on the football field. New John Tyler head football coach Thomas Brooks met with hundreds of Lions supporters tonight, undoubtably explaining how he is going to return Cujo country to state prominence. It was all part of a meet the coaches night, which proved to be an overwhelming success.

"Before the season even starts, to get this type of reception is tremendous," said Brooks. "I can't imagine you start winning, man, it's just going to go crazy."

"It seems like things are rejuvenating themselves," said John Tyler parent Donnie Howard. "Everybody is coming out to support the new coach to see what he can do to get this program back on track."

"We're looking forward to a really great season next year," said Johh Tyler parent Cheryl Garmon. "The boys are ready. The parents, the school are ready to support [Brooks]. We wish him all the best."

Coach Brooks says he's aiming for a playoff berth next year. Of course, the JT fans are already hoping for a state championship.
