Million Dollar Drug Bust In Panola County

It's one of the largest drug busts in East Texas history, thanks to a traffic stop in Panola County. On Monday, officers in Carthage stopped a car on U-S highway 59 and found 21-pounds of "ice" meth-amphetamine, worth a street value of over "1-million" dollars. A Georgia man, 36-year-old Justino Bernandino, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, and is being held in Panola county on "4-million" dollars bond.

Investigators believe the "ice" was manufactured in what's called a "super lab" in Mexico. And that Bernandino was transporting it to the states.
