Restaurant Reports: Potentially dangerous eggs and misplaced bug killer

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

Potentially dangerous eggs and bug killer in the wrong place were just some of the violations found in the latest round of inspections by East Texas health inspectors.

In Longview,

The Donut Box at 3900 west Marshall avenue had 8 critical violations in a February inspection.

Raw eggs held too warm (thermometer)

Sausage patties held too cold (thermometer)

Food prep utensils stored on raw egg shells (danger)

Stored cheese not date-marked (danger)

Dirty knives found in flour bucket (unclean)

Total demerits : 31

Fuji at 3098 north Eastman road

Food handler seen with cuts on hands (unclean)

Raw shrimp and lobster stored in same container (danger)

Cleaners and pesticides were stored near food items (danger)

Crab mix , eel and sushi not date marked (danger)
