Co-Workers Set Up Tragedy Fund

Co-workers and friends are trying to help the family of an East Texas lawn care worker, who was killed in an accident just a few days after Christmas.

Berrell Mathis, 25, died in a head-on collision on his way to work in Tyler. He leaves behind his wife, Nicole, and their 8-month-old baby.

Berrell's co-workers at Wilhite/Chem Shrub on Highway 64 have set up a donation fund for his family. If you'd like to help, you can make donations to the Mathis Tragedy Fund at any Southside Bank.
