Wednesday's Weather: Partly cloudy and cooler. Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.

The showers have cleared, but cooler weather will stick around for our Christmas Eve, behind a cold front that pushed through at the start of the week.

Bundle up! We have a chilly day in store for East Texas. We'll start the morning in the mid 30s, warming into the upper 40s this afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will take over throughout the day, with winds from the northwest, bringing in that cooler air, from 10-15, gusting up to 20 mph.?

Overnight, skies will clear, so we'll get even cooler for our Christmas morning. Lows will drop into the low 30s, but we'll get warmer tomorrow afternoon. High pressure will take over, bringing plenty of sunshine to the area, and shifting our winds out of the south, from 10-20 mph. These southerly winds will pull in warmer air, so our highs will reach in the low 60s on Christmas!

These sunny skies won't last long... another cold front, moving in from the northwest, will bring mostly cloudy skies and a chance (30-40%) for scattered showers Friday through Sunday. Highs will fall into the mid 50s Saturday, the upper 40s to low 50s Sunday.

Mostly sunny skies will return behind the front for the start of next week, with highs staying in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

Have a wonderful holiday.
