Flu Shot Criteria Changing

The criteria is changing for those who want a flu shot.

Starting January 3rd, the "Northeast Texas Public Health District" will begin offering flu shots to those outside the "high risk" category. Now included are people 50 and older, caregivers, children 6 to 23 months of age, and pregnant women. Also day care workers, teachers (especially elementary school), firefighters, police officers, detention officers, restaurant workers and other jobs that require close contact.

The walk-in clinics begin on the 3rd.
