Red Raiders On Their Way To San Antonio

They're off to San Antonio.

The Robert E. Lee High School football team left this morning from campus. The students and their coaches loaded up their gear for the 6-hour drive. Even Santa Claus went along for the ride.

We asked the coaches and players if this exciting week has made it difficult for them to focus on tomorrow's game.

"It's been a distraction, but Coach Owens has really pounded on us to stay focused, and so I think we really have, and so everybody really has stayed focused, and just ready to play," Josh Hill, the quarterback, said.

"It's been a pretty normal week, as far as practice and all that goes," Coach Mike Owens, said. "But, you know, there's extra attention and everything because of the importance of the game. But as far as our players are concerned, it's been just another week."

Family members were also there to see them off. The Red Raiders will be playing tomorrow at noon at San Antonio's Alamodome against Spring Westfield.
