Clydesdales On Display In Marshall

A symbol of the traditional American holiday, in the form of 20-thousand pounds worth of horses, are on display in Marshall. The Budwieser "Clydesdales" are being showcased near the old courthouse for the next 2 days. The ten horses, from the San Antonio hitch, weigh 2-thousand pounds each.

They eat 25 pounds of grain and 50 pounds of feed every day. The massive draft horses have been good will ambassadors for Anhueser-Busch since 1933. Those who work with them say they have a nostalgic appeal. The horses will be on display to the public tomorrow from 7 am to 7 pm.
