When the SFA Lumberjacks need a touchdown, it's all aboard the Gus bus. In 33 career games, Johnson has ran for 33 touchdowns.
"It's a good feeling," said Johnson. "When you come in you always want to make an impact to your school and to your team."
Saturday night the Gilmer native etched his name into the SFA record books, with 4 touchdown runs, to become the school's all time rushing touchdown leader.
"I completely forgot about it during the game," said Johnson. " Then I heard it on the loud speaker. It's sunk in now. After the game it was crazy. It hit me and coached addressed it after the game. It's a really good feeling."
Breaking the touchdown record in week 2, Johnson's place at number one will likely be safe for many years to come. He still has at least 10 games left in his college career.
