Robin Williams movie ticket cost to fund help for depression in East Texas

The death of beloved actor and comedian Robin Williams was a tragedy that shed light on a struggle common to many people: Depression.

Times Square Cinema and One Love Network are joining together to bring you an event intended to raise money to go into an assistance fund to help those in our community who cannot afford professional services for issues like depression, bipolar disorder, and other issues that affect every family at some time or another.

Two Robin Williams movies will be shown at Times Square Cinema: Patch Adams on Monday, September 8, and Hook on Tuesday, September 9. The movies will be shown at 7 p.m. on their respective nights, and tickets are only $2. Popcorn and a drink can be purchased together for $4. Proceeds will then be distributed to The Life Center and to Samaritan Counseling Center and used for patients who need help but cannot afford to pay.

Please bring your family and friends to either of the movies (or both) and support this worthy cause that, event sponsors hope, may just save the life of someone who otherwise would have had no help.

If you'd like more information, contact Travis White at One Love Network by calling 903-780-3477 or call Times Square Cinema at 903-581-1818.

Times Square Cinema is located at 5201 S. Broadway Avenue in Tyler.
