(KLTV) - The family and friends of a man killed in a Aug. 12 natural gas pipeline explosion in Rusk County are holding an online auction in his honor Wednesday.

Conner Wilson, who worked for Thunderhorse Oilfield Services, was killed when a tractor struck the gas line, about 200 feet off of FM 1798, causing a rupture. According to the Wilson Benefit Auction webpage, Wilson was the sole provider for his wife Kristin and their four children, ages 3 to 7; Allison, Peyton, Drue and Brody.

The auction is organized by members of a group at Mobberly Baptist Church.

"Conner was heavily involved with his local church, and was well known as being incredibly selfless and caring. It was crystal clear to anyone around Conner that his wife and children were his number one priority. By participating in this auction, you can join us as a community in honoring his legacy," a statement on the site read.

The auction begins at 8 p.m. Wednesday and runs through 9:59 p.m. Friday. Listings will be posted on the Wilson Benefit Auction Facebook page as photos, with a detailed description in the photo caption.

For more information on the auction, visit their Facebook page or to make a donation without participating in the auction visit their You Caring page .
