A correction and apology from the GMET news team

(KLTV) - We have a correction to make on a story we aired this morning on "Good Morning East Texas." The story was about a mother who ordered a milkshake from a Dairy Queen for her son. The shake contained some cleaning chemicals that required the son to get medical treatment.

What we failed to do this morning was to tell you that this incident happened at a Dairy Queen in Colorado. It was not a Dairy Queen in East Texas.

This was a mistake on our part, and we apologize. There is nothing we take more seriously than the accuracy of the news we report to you on a daily basis. We are taking steps to make sure this never happens again.
