WHITE OAK, TX (KLTV) -

The White Oak high school band got soaking wet Friday night to raise awareness for ALS.

More than 200 students and staff took the ice bucket challenge with the help of the White Oak Volunteer Fire Department. The group decided it was the perfect way to end their week-long camp to prepare for the school year.

The White Oak band says they are nominating the Spring Hill, New Diana and Queen City band programs to also take the challenge.
