LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Police have released surveillance video of an August 13 bank robbery in Longview.

Longview police were dispatched to the East Texas Professional Credit Union located in the 3800 block of Gilmer Road for a bank robbery around 3:00 p.m.

Officers were told by bank employees that a white male, dressed in blue jeans, dark colored shoes, a gray polo shirt with a white undershirt and a plaid Hurley-brand cap entered the bank. They say the man's face was partially covered, below the eyes, as he displayed a handgun and asked for money. He then fled the scene in a tan colored four-door SUV.

A clerk told police that a white male wearing jeans, a gray polo-style shirt, tennis shoes, a hunting mask and a plaid Hurley-brand baseball cap displayed a weapon and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene in a tan SUV before police arrived. Officers say the SUV was parked on the side of the bank on Crystal Street.

It was the fourth bank robbery in East Texas in three days. On August 11, Austin Bank inside the Bar-K Convenience Store was robbed by three men in a gold or tan-colored car. On the same day, a man in a business suit robbed the Capital One Bank in south Tyler just after 8 a.m. On Tuesday, three men robbed Austin Bank on the west loop just after 10 a.m.

If you have any information on the ETPCU robbery, you are urged to call Detective Trevor Yates at (903) 237-1110.
