From East Texas Medical Center:
TYLER, TX - The East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System and Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants, P.A., have joined forces to bring heart care to patients, announced Dianne Adelfio, vice president of the ETMC Cardiovascular Institute.
CVC support staff are now ETMC team members, and the CVC physicians became formally affiliated with ETMC, effective Aug. 15. Tyler CVC physicians include Drs. Robert Carney, Brent Davis, David Dick, David Hector, Raul Torres-Heisecke, Roderick Meese, Frank Navetta, Robert Smith and Thaddeus Tolleson. These nine physicians are also fellowship trained.
The physicians are located at Cardiac Plaza, a newly renovated facility at 2401 SSE Loop 323 near McDonald Road (the former location of Swann's Furniture for many years). Cardiac Plaza also houses a diagnostic cardiovascular imaging center.
CVC physicians also see patients at ETMC hospitals in Athens, Fairfield, Henderson, Jacksonville, Pittsburg and Quitman.
“We are proud to be affiliated with the ETMC Cardiovascular Institute, and we look forward to new opportunities afforded by this relationship as we continue to serve the patients of East Texas,” said Dr. Carney. “We believe the collaboration between CVC and ETMC will further our shared mission of providing East Texans with outstanding cardiac care.”
Adelfio agrees: “The CVC group represents cardiac leadership in East Texas, and to have this relationship with ETMC is a bonus for our cardiac patients. We are so pleased that this respected group of physicians with more than 25 years of experience in Tyler will now be affiliated with ETMC.”
Adelfio said she believes the relationship with Tyler CVC will help streamline the process of care for cardiac patients, enabling them to receive outpatient diagnostics and care with a new level of efficiency and quality.
