SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Smith County Sheriff's Office needs your help in locating a suspect in a residential burglary. 

Aaron Bowers, 41, was released from the Smith County Jail on Thursday evening after serving time on a criminal trespassing charge. Around 2 a.m. on Friday, Smith County dispatch received a burglary call of a mobile home in the 12800 block of Highway 31 West in western Smith County.

The homeowner said she returned home to find the suspect fleeing from her residence with various household items. The suspect ran into the woods behind her home. She recognized Bowers because he has relatives that live nearby.
