GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Gregg County Sheriff's Office has released photos from a bank robbery that happened on Monday afternoon in Gregg County. Officials said the robbery happened at Austin Bank inside the Bar-K Convenience store on Highway 259 north of Longview around 4 p.m.

The Gregg County sheriff says a gold or tan Chevrolet pulled up to the side of the bank and two black males got out of the car. A third man stayed in the car. One of the men, wearing dark clothing, light-colored gloves and a large brim hat entered the bank with a long barrel shotgun and told the clerk, "Give me money."

The second man, wearing a light-colored hoodie, light-colored gloves, jeans and sunglasses, stayed at the doorway and didn't speak. Thirteen seconds later, the men returned to the car with an undisclosed amount of cash. The car then sped off south towards Longview.

Police say the vehicle is described as a newer model four-door Chevrolet, possibly a Malibu or Cruze, with factory-type wheels and no window tint.

The manager at that convenience store told KLTV she watched the surveillance video after it happened.

“The video that we have in the store you can see that something's going on back there because they're all hustling and it looks kind of crazy, but you can't see anybody standing on the other side of the wall because it goes around, but you can tell something's going on,” Shonda McCurry, the manager, said.

Another witness said two black men robbed the bank using a shotgun before speeding off in a brownish-gold car. Police said they are searching for three suspects, two who allegedly robbed the bank, one who stayed in the car.

East Mountain police and the Gregg County sheriff responded, as well as the FBI.
