GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Police are investigating a robbery a Gregg County bank on Monday afternoon. Officials said the robbery happened at Austin Bank inside the Bar-K Convenience store on Highway 259 around 4 p.m.

The manager at that convenience store told KLTV she watched the surveillance video after it happened.

“The video that we have in the store you can see that something’s going on back there because they’re all hustling and it looks kind of crazy, but you can’t see anybody standing on the other side of the wall because it goes around, but you can tell something’s going on,” Shonda McCurry, the manager, said.

Another witness said two black men robbed the bank using a shotgun before speeding off in a brownish-gold car. Police said they are searching for three suspects, two who allegedly robbed the bank, one who stayed in the car.

East Mountain police and the Gregg County sheriff responded as well as the FBI. Police were told to be on the look out for a goldish-brown Chevrolet Impala.

The entire robbery took just 13 seconds.
