TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A $1,000 reward is being offered by Tyler Smith County Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of the suspect responsible for striking a pedestrian near the intersection of Van Highway and Loop 323 on July 15. To be eligible for the reward, call 903-597-CUFF or 903-597-2833.

Witnesses say 23-year-old Kenneth Jones, Jr., was hit by one vehicle and then run over by another while he was trying to cross the intersection of Loop 323 and Highway 110 in Tyler.

"If anyone out there knows who hit this young man and left him out there to die, please contact the police," Kenneth's aunt Nancy Lewis begged.

Investigators are seeking information on the vehicle and driver who struck and killed Jones. According to the press release, investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a Chevrolet.
