ATHENS, TX (KLTV) - A probable cause affidavit obtained by KLTV Friday shows that Stacie Parsons, the East Texas mother charged with capital murder, confessed the crime to Henderson County Sheriff Deputies after already confessing to Athens Police.

After that confession, Parsons led deputies to the location where the crime occurred near the intersection of county roads 1500 and 1507 in Henderson County.

Gary Wyatt, Sr. says his son is devastated by the loss of his young daughter, Victoria.

“Victoria was everything to Gary. That was part of the jealousy problem. Of course, the mother never showed any affection towards her at all,” he said.

Wyatt says Parsons struggled with anger and jealousy since Victoria was born.

“She loved Gary with a passion and never, ever loved the baby. She'd say over and over, ‘I never wanted a girl. I wanted a boy.’ Her best friend, when she was pregnant with her second boy, she tried to trade babies,” said Wyatt.

Wyatt says Parsons took out her frustrations on Victoria.

“In the last few weeks, she'd gotten meaner and meaner and meaner with the baby and the day before Gary had called me, he said, ‘Dad she's out here screaming at the baby over a bottle of water. I can't do this anymore,’ said Wyatt.

He says his family still can't believe Victoria is gone.

“None of us even know how to handle this situation. We're all in denial. We keep thinking the little thing is going to run around the corner and say, ‘Granpy, granpy, daddy, daddy let’s go do something,’” he said.

Victoria's family has set up a fund to help cover her funeral and burial expenses. If you'd like to help, you can donate at any Woodforest National Bank where an account has been opened under Victoria Wyatt.

For the most part 7-on-7 can be a fair indicator of how well a team is shaping up. Do they need a lot or a little work. Unless you're the Longview Lobos.  The Lobos have always been so strong at the run game, that they could have a terrible 7-on-7 season and still come out dominating on Friday nights.  But what would happen, if the Lobos got balanced?  Well District 11-6A better start prepping, because for the first time since 2013 the Lobos have a stable pass ga...More >>
