Jacksonville native Josh McCown and Buccaneers report to Camp

JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) - Jacksonville native Josh McCown and the Buccaneers reported to training camp on Thursday morning. Tampa Bay will have an East Texas flavor to it this season as Big Sandy's Lovie Smith is the Bucs head coach.

Mccown is Tampa Bay's starting quarterback and its the first time since 2004 the East Texan is being counted on as the number one guy. entering his 13th year in the NFL, McCown is ready to lead the Bucs after throwing 13 touchdowns last season in a back-up role in Chicago.

"I'm excited because you know where you stand going into camp," McCown said. "For me being in my 13th year, its humbling just to be able to still come do this so I am very thankful for the opportunity. It's really cool."
