CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

One East Texas family dog is on his best behavior after biting a UPS driver earlier in July.

We told you about Vickie York who had her arm badly injured after a pit bull bit her arm while she was delivering packages to a home near Troup.

Cherokee County officials said they have completed an investigation. The dog was required to stay quarantined at the home with daily check-ups by officials for ten days.

Investigators said the dog was friendly and well contained during that time so no further action will be taken. If the dog has another aggressive incident, consequences could be more severe next time.
