Cowboys arrive in Oxnard, CA for training camp

OXNARD, CA (KLTV) - Let the fun begin. The Cowboys have arrived at their team hotel in Oxnard, California ahead of training camp which will officially kick off on Wednesday with a press conference. Sports director Ryan Peterson is in California for the next week to bring us all things Cowboys

Dallas will call the Marriott Residence Inn at River Ridge home for the next three weeks as they participate in training camp. The Cowboys landed in California on Tuesday afternoon and signed autographs at Naval Base Ventura County.

After that the Cowboys were given a police escort to the hotel here in Oxnard. Players were all business getting off the bus, not signing anymore autographs.

Jason Garrett reportedly canceled the conditioning test that players were set to run Wednesday. We'll be able to talk to Coach Garrett on Wednesday afternoon. Jerry Jones and Garrett will speak to the media in their camp opening press conference at 3 p.m. local time.
