LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A Longview harassment complaint involving prostitution led to an arrest Tuesday.

Longview police were called to a suspicious vehicle in the 2900 block of Lynn Street. When officers arrived, they were told by the victim that the suspect had been harassing him since April 2013.

Police found that over the past year the suspect, Joseph Pearson, 34, of Daingerfield, placed calls to prostitutes, asking them to go to an address in the 2900 block of Lynn Street to perform sexual acts. Each time, the victim was approached by women, sometimes accompanied by men, arriving at his home to have sex for money. At one point, the victim was threatened by one of the visitors.

Pearson was located in the 700 block of Swancy Street and arrested for solicitation of prostitution and harassment.
