The Lights At "Santa Land" Could Soon Shine Again

The spirt of christmas will soon be shining again at a popular East Texas attraction.
Dozens of workers braved the cold weather Wendesday and repaired much of the damage at "Santa Land."
Tuesday's hail storm destroyed almost a half million light bulbs at the park near Lindale. Volunteers used lifts to replace bulbs and string new lights. The park is closed, but because of the efforts of many, it could re-open sooner than expected.
"We're thinking we could be open by tomorrow (Thursday) night even and if not tomorrow night, Friday night," said co-owner Pat Palmer. "It's just unbelievable the work they've done."
Again santa land could re-open as soon as Thursday, Thankgiving night. KLTV will bring you an update when the park re-opens.
