Former Gilmer Buckeye David Snow ready for training camp with Steelers

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Believe it or not NFL training camp is nearly upon us. The Cowboys first practice is next Wednesday in Oxnard, California. Former Gilmer Buckeye David Snow will report to camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers on July 25th.

Snow has spent the summer staying in shape here in Tyler at APEC. The former Texas Longhorn signed with the Steelers in December of 2013, but did not appear in any games.

After a productive and solid offseason with Pittsburgh, Snow is excited to show the team what he is capable of and is optimistic about his chance to make an impact this upcoming season.

"A lot of things are just learning the system and getting the technique down," Snow said. "We got a good base on technique wise during organized team activities and right now is a great time to expand upon that."

Snow went on to say, "Coming into training camp you just come in running. My expectations are basically just live my life for God and take it wherever he wants it to go. wherever he takes me i am good to go."

Before taking buses to the training camp headquarters in Oxnard, the players and Coach Garrett took time to sign autographs for the military and their families.
