GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

A Gregg County preschooler has been located in Arkansas.

The child, Maddison McKay Harrell, had been missing since July 10. A Gregg County court had awarded custody of Maddison to another family, and then Ashley Elizabeth Harrell, her mother, "interfered with child custody," the sheriff said. Ashley Harrell was found in Sabine Parish, Louisiana, over the weekend and was arrested. Maddison was safely located in Arkansas.

A civil procedure will take place there to determine custody of the child.
