We are about to enter into an active weather pattern for the month of July across the area. This will include tracking a strong, rare, July Cold front into the region. Your Tuesday will feature a a chance of scattered showers and storms, especially during the first half of the day in Deep East Texas. I'm expecting about a 30% coverage across the region. Look for daytime highs to warm only to near 90. A few isolated storms will be possible across East Texas, Wednesday, otherwise look for a mix of sun and clouds and cooler. Daytime highs will only be in the mid to upper 80s. Even cooler weather moves into the area by late week with temps averaging some 15-20 degrees below normal for this time of year. Look for another disturbance to move into the area along the stalled out front, increasing shower and storm chances to likely, especially Thursday night into Friday. Daytime highs will only warm into the low to mid 80s. Depending on how much rain we see, some locations, especially across the north may not even get above 80 degrees! Temps warm back up, and we dry out as we move towards next week.
