LIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) -

On Wednesday, Livingston Police officers arrested the second of two suspects who allegedly stole 23 checks from an elderly man and used them to spend $11,300.

Curtis Hall, 29, of Livingston is still being held in the Polk County Jail on a felony forgery of a financial institution-elderly charge. His bail was set at $25,000.

Kevin Kennedy, of Garrison, the other suspect in the case, was booked into the Polk County Jail on the same charge earlier this week. He has since bonded out of jail.

Hall and Kennedy allegedly stole the checks from Kennedy’s grandfather.
