A cold front stalled across the area will keep our weather active today. The front will continue to stall, allowing for several afternoons of showers and thunderstorms to develop across the region. This does not look to be a washout, or something that would cancel any 4th of July plans, but do be aware, chances for afternoon showers and storms will increase as we move toward your Holiday. The upcoming weekend currently looks like a typical East Texas summer forecast, with partly cloudy skies and isolated pop-up showers. Highs will be in the lower 90s?.?
