EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -
A cold front will be approaching the area from the north. As it arrives in East Texas, it will actually stall, allowing for several afternoons of showers and thunderstorms to develop across the region. This does not look to be a washout, or something that would cancel any 4th of July plans, but do be aware, chances for afternoon showers and storms will increase as we move toward your Holiday. The upcoming weekend currently looks like a typical East Texas summer forecast, with partly cloudy skies and isolated pop-up showers. Highs will be in the lower 90s?.
