Bringing Home the Browns: Heather's condition improves after Wednesday morning scare

Posted: Updated:

Heather Brown, the East Texas mother who suffered a brain aneurysm and slipped into a coma, is in the hospital in good condition on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the family's Facebook page, 'Bringing Home the Browns', Heather was scheduled to have her gall bladder removed, but on the way to the hospital she stopped breathing and was placed on a ventilator. Later Wednesday afternoon, Heather's condition improved and she was taken off the ventilator. Her vital signs have improved, but she will still be in the hospital for at least a few more days.

We first told you about the Brown family in September of 2012, when at 34 weeks pregnant, Heather suffered a brain aneurysm, forcing doctors to deliver the baby by C-section.  Her husband, Sean Brown, who is a Gladewater police officer, was overseas at the time, serving in Afghanistan.

Heather was transferred from the hospital to a medical facility in October of 2012.
