TRAFFIC ALERT: Eastbound lanes of I-20 near mile marker 593 shut down

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

According to DPS, multiple crashes are causing a traffic shutdown on Interstate 20 in Gregg County. 

The accidents are blocking the roadway near mile marker 593. Trooper Jean Dark says that troopers are en route to the scene and will work to  reroute traffic until lanes can be reopened. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
