EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -
Grab your umbrella! The chance for scattered showers and storms will continue for your Tuesday.
After stalling over along the I-20 corridor overnight, a cold front will continue to push through East Texas today. Scattered showers and storms will build ahead of this front, much like what we saw yesterday. Moisture will continue to stream in from the Gulf, meeting up with this cold front, producing showers and storms throughout the day.
Highs will stay a few degrees below average for this time of year as the cold front pushes through the area. Expect highs in the upper 80s for your Tuesday. Overnight, lows will fall back into the low 70s as showers and storms continue.
Moisture will continue to stream in from the Gulf, continuing the chance for scattered showers through the end of the week. By the weekend, a ridge of high pressure will begin to build into place, bringing mostly sunny skies, and just a slight chance for a few pop of showers and storms in the afternoon. Highs will warm back into the low 90s by the weekend.
