Head coach Jason Garrett said he was pleased with the offseason workouts, but mentioned the team will continue to evaluate guys and see if they belong on the roster. One guy who will likely be a Cowboy for many years to come is Lufkin native Dez Bryant. The wide receiver is coming off his first pro bowl season where he had 13 touchdowns and over 1,200 yards receiving. Along with continuing to improve, Bryant is focused on being the leader of the receiving core.
"We hold each other accountable," Bryant said. "Our standard is very high for this receiving group. Our motto is to make big plays and that's what we do. We aren't trying to go into camp taking a step back. Not only me but the rest of the guys are trying to build off of what we learned here at ota's and mini camp."
