EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Even though Dean Mullican is only 69 years old, exposure to Agent Orange has aged this Vietnam War veteran way beyond his years. Mullican arrived in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive of 1968. He was wounded during a rocket attack, but that didn't hurt nearly as much as being called a "Baby Killer" by teenage boys when he returned home.
Mullican has had numerous surgeries for tumors that have erupted throughout his body because of exposure to Agent Orange. These days, he spends much of hs time in bed at the Texas State Veterans Home in Tyler.
