LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The Longview Fire Department surpassed goals with annual fundraiser.

The Longview Professional Fire Fighters Association and the Longview Fire Department partnered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to help "Fill The Boot."

As the 60th anniversary of the annual fundraising event, this year's goal was to collect $60,000. The Longview Fire Department said that with the help and dedication of the citizens of Longview, not only did they meet our goal but they surpassed it.
