UPSHUR COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas man has been sentenced to more than 40 years in prison, after pleading guilty to the 2013 murder of a woman he was living with.

26-year-old Eddie Baker is charged with murdering 45-year-old Tana Warren. He was arrested just north of Gilmer in February of 2013, after Sheriff's deputies say he stabbed two other people and tried to set their travel trailer on fire. Deputies captured Baker after he fled from the scene.

Investigators later found Tana's body in Baker's home.

Upshur County District Attorney Billy Byrd says that Eddie Baker plead guilty to 45 years in prison for murder, and 2 10-year sentences for aggravated assault. The sentences will be served concurrently.
